More than 50 exceptional artworks, generously donated by well-known Victorian artists, will be auctioned at the Sunshine Print Artspace (SPA) on Saturday 4 May at 7pm. There will be a preview exhibition leading up to the auction from 28 April to 4 May.
This year we have an ambitious target to raise $50,000 which will assist us to develop our community programs, complete necessary work on studio spaces and further consolidate our vision within the community. We will provide opportunities for artists to document and display their artworks, as well as promote events that encourage dialogue on issues of culture, politics and the environment.
We are grateful to the generous artists from across the art spectrum who have donated paintings, drawings, prints and sculptures. Come along, have some fun and support SPA.
Music, food and drink offerings and a celebration of the artspace will happen along with the auction.
SPA INDUCTION THIS SUNDAY
We would like to welcome our new Members and we are excited that SPA is growing.
We will be holding an induction this SUNDAY 17th March 10 am at SPA.
This induction will be particularly for the use of Textile and Screen printing facilities.

How to use a screen printing carousel – Feb 24
Have you ever wanted to print a production run of T-Shirts or other textile products? We are offering a full day workshop on how to use a 4 colour carousel. This introductory workshop will provide participants with an understanding of how to set up a Manual Screen Print carousel which will enable designers to screen print up to four colours accurately and efficiently. Carousel printing is perfect for production runs of placement prints on T-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, tea towels and will enable printers to achieve a professional print run efficiently.

Photographic Stencils SAT 2 and Sun 3 March
In this weekend 2-day weekend workshop you will learn how to create detailed artwork using a variety of different mediums and materials suitable for photographic stencils. You will prepare a one colour placement design suitable for a textile product eg. T-shirts, tote bags or tea towels.
